Product Details

15kW Three Phase Hybrid Inverter

The GoodWe ET G2 Series is the latest-generation three-phase high-voltage (HV) hybrid solar inverter for residential applications, covering five output ratings: 6kW, 8kW, 10kW, 12kW, and 15kW. Designed to meet growing household electricity demand, the ET G2 delivers higher PV input tolerance, superior weather protection, and intelligent energy management in a compact, wall-mount form factor.

C&D Emerging Energy supplies the ET G2 Series factory-direct to B2B buyers, solar distributors, and EPC contractors worldwide. All models carry CE, TÜV, UL, JET, and CEC certifications — ready for deployment across European, Australian, and North American markets. OEM and wholesale inquiries welcome.

Advantages

IP66 All-Weather Protection — One Grade Above Standard

The ET G2 carries an IP66 ingress protection rating — fully sealed against dust and protection against powerful water jets. This makes it suitable for exposed outdoor wall installations in high-humidity coastal regions, tropical climates, and sites with regular pressure washing. For distributors selling into Southeast Asia, Australia, or Southern Europe, IP66 is frequently a purchasing specification requirement that eliminates lower-rated competitors at the procurement stage.

Type II SPD on Both DC and AC Sides

Unlike many hybrid inverters that protect only the DC input, the ET G2 includes surge protection devices (SPD) on both DC and AC sides simultaneously. This dual-side protection significantly reduces the risk of inverter failure from lightning strikes or grid voltage spikes — a key reliability argument for installers in areas with frequent thunderstorms and an important differentiator in warranty claim reduction for distributors managing large fleets.

UPS-Level Battery Backup — Switchover Under 10ms

When grid power fails, the ET G2 switches to battery backup mode in under 10 milliseconds — fast enough to be imperceptible to sensitive electronics including computers, medical devices, and industrial control systems. This UPS-class response time is a premium feature that justifies higher end-user pricing and enables positioning in markets where power reliability is a primary concern (South Africa, Philippines, parts of Latin America).

ET G2 Series

Application

60% PV Input Over-sizing for Maximum Energy Harvest

With a PV oversizing ratio of up to 160%, the ET G2 allows installers to connect significantly more PV panel capacity than the inverter's rated output. This means the inverter reaches peak output earlier in the morning and maintains it longer in the afternoon — extracting more usable energy from the same roof area. The higher 16A per-string maximum DC current also supports newer high-power panel formats (600W+) without additional string combiner hardware.

Standard Residential (6kW – 10kW): Single-family homes with moderate electricity consumption, grid-connected solar + storage for self-consumption maximization and backup during outages. The 6kW and 8kW models are ideal entry-level configurations for emerging markets where smaller roof areas are the norm.

High-Consumption Homes with EVs or Heat Pumps (10kW – 15kW): Properties with electric vehicle charging, air-source heat pumps, or underfloor heating systems require higher inverter capacity to manage simultaneous loads without grid dependency. The 12kW and 15kW ET G2 models, combined with dry contact load scheduling, make these scenarios cost-effective without oversizing the battery.

Parallel Multi-Inverter Installations (up to 90kW): Small apartment buildings, boutique hotels, or light commercial premises that require scalable three-phase power without moving to a full commercial inverter platform. Six ET G2 units in parallel deliver 90kW of hybrid capacity while keeping the system modular — individual units can be replaced without full system downtime.

ET G2 Series

*1: Max. Input Power, not continuous for 1.6normal power. Besides, in Australia, for most of the PV module, the max. Input power can achieve 2*Pn, Such as the max. input power of GW6000-ET-20 can achieve 12000W.

*2: For 1000V system, Maximum operating voltage is 950V.

*3: According to the local grid regulation.

*4: Output Voltage Range: phase voltage.

*5: The Max. AC Current Output to on-grid load is 13A, 17.4A, 21.7A, 21.7A, 21.7A separately.

*6: Can be reached only if PV and battery power is enough.

*7: No Back-up Output.

Q: Is the ET G2 a single-phase or three-phase inverter?

A: The ET G2 Series is a three-phase hybrid inverter across all models (6kW–15kW). It is designed for three-phase grid connections and delivers 100% unbalanced output, making it suitable for residential properties on three-phase supply.

Q: What is the difference between the ET G2 Series and the ET 20-30K Series?

A: The ET G2 is the newer-generation model optimized for residential use (6–15kW), featuring IP66 protection (vs IP65), dual-side SPD (DC + AC), 160% PV oversizing (vs 150%), and 6-unit parallel capability. The ET 20-30K covers higher power ranges (15–30kW) for larger residential or light commercial sites.

Q: Can the 15kW ET G2 operate without a battery connected?

A: Yes. The ET G2 can operate in grid-tie mode without a battery as a standard solar inverter. Battery storage can be added later when required — the HV battery interface remains available for future expansion.

Q: How many ET G2 units can be connected in parallel?

A: Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel, providing a maximum combined output of 90kW (6 × 15kW). This makes the ET G2 a scalable solution for projects that exceed standard residential requirements without requiring a commercial-grade inverter platform.

Q: What certifications does the ET G2 carry?

A: CE, TÜV, UL, JET, and CEC — covering European, North American, Japanese, and Australian markets. Please refer to GoodWe's website for the most current certificate documentation.
