Product Details

Sigen Sensor

Sigen Sensors are available in two series: the SP Series (SP-DH, SP-CT120-DH) and the TP Series (TP-DH, TP-CT120-DH).

The SP Series (SP-DH, SP-CT120-DH) specializes in power monitoring and is suitable for real-time monitoring of various power systems, focusing on collecting power parameters such as current, voltage, and power. The SP-CT120-DH is an enhanced version of the SP-DH. It features a 120A current transformer (CT), providing increased support for high currents. This complements and enhances the SP-DH. This makes it suitable for monitoring high-current loads.

The TP series (TP-DH, TP-CT120-DH) is suitable for applications requiring power and temperature monitoring, especially where temperature is critical to the operation of power equipment. The TP-CT120-DH is an enhanced version of the TP-DH, featuring a 120A current transformer (CT) to support higher current monitoring. It also offers temperature monitoring capabilities, making it suitable for more complex power monitoring scenarios.

The Sub1G Kit is a wireless communication module for remote data acquisition and transmission. It supports the Sub-1 GHz wireless frequency band (typically 433 MHz or 868 MHz) for transmitting data from sensors to monitoring platforms or cloud platforms. Both the Sigen Sensor SP series and Sigen Sensor TP series can use the Sub1G Kit for wireless data transmission, enabling sensors to remotely transmit data to control systems without wiring.

In residential energy storage systems, Sigen Sensor series sensors can be used in conjunction with other components such as solar photovoltaic panels, inverters, energy storage batteries, and energy management systems to achieve comprehensive monitoring and optimized management of system status.

Sigen Sensor Application Scenarios

1. Sigen Sensor SP-DH

Home/Commercial Power Monitoring:

Used for monitoring power consumption in homes and commercial buildings, helping users analyze energy efficiency and optimize power usage.

Suitable for smart home systems, it optimizes power usage through real-time data feedback.

Solar Power Systems:

In photovoltaic power generation systems, the SP-DH can be used to monitor inverter output power and overall system performance, ensuring efficient operation.

Power Distribution Systems:

Used for monitoring power parameters in power distribution systems, helping power companies or managers monitor the stability and efficiency of the power network.

Industrial Equipment Monitoring:

In some industrial equipment or production lines, the SP-DH can monitor power consumption, optimize energy efficiency, and prevent equipment failures due to power issues.

2. Sigen Sensor SP-CT120-DH

Industrial Power Monitoring:

In large industrial equipment, the SP-CT120-DH can monitor the power parameters of high-power devices (such as large motors, transformers, welding machines, etc.), making it particularly suitable for heavy-load equipment.

High-Power Power Systems:

In high-power applications such as power substations, high-voltage power systems, and data centers, the SP-CT120-DH can monitor high-current loads in real time to ensure stable system operation.

Power Monitoring and Management:

For power monitoring in large buildings or for multiple parallel devices, the SP-CT120-DH provides detailed current and power data, helping power managers monitor equipment and diagnose faults.

Solar Power Generation Systems (Large-Scale):

For large-scale photovoltaic power plants, the SP-CT120-DH can measure power generation and usage of high-current loads, helping analyze photovoltaic system efficiency.

3. Sigen Sensor TP-DH

Equipment Overheating Monitoring:

The TP-DH is particularly suitable for equipment that requires temperature and power monitoring, such as power transformers, UPS power supplies, and distribution boxes. When operating at high temperatures, elevated temperatures can cause equipment damage or failure. The TP-DH provides temperature alarms to facilitate preventative maintenance.

Smart Grid Monitoring:

In smart grid systems, the TP-DH helps monitor temperature changes and power loads within the grid, ensuring normal operation and avoiding overloads or equipment damage.

Solar Energy Systems and Energy Storage Systems:

In photovoltaic systems, temperature is a key factor affecting the efficiency of photovoltaic panels. The TP-DH monitors current, voltage, and temperature in real time to optimize panel efficiency and prevent overheating and other power generation losses.

Battery Energy Storage Systems:

For battery energy storage systems (such as lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries), the TP-DH monitors the battery's power input/output status and temperature changes to ensure it operates within safe limits.

4. Sigen Sensor TP-CT120-DH

Large Industrial Equipment and Power System Monitoring:

For large machinery or industrial facilities, the TP-CT120-DH simultaneously monitors current (up to 120A) and temperature. It is widely used in equipment with high power loads, such as those in the metallurgical, mining, and power industries.

Dual Temperature and Power Monitoring for High-Load Equipment:

For thermal management of electrical and mechanical equipment, the TP-CT120-DH helps monitor current load and device temperature, ensuring safe operating conditions and preventing failures due to overheating or overcurrent.
